Nine formulas, kept deliberately small.
Where it began
RAAYA began as a set of nine trials on a bench in Jaipur, made for no one in particular. The brief was narrow on purpose: one material at the centre of each formula, and no supporting cast added to make it easier to like.
Six years on, the count has not moved. When a tenth formula is good enough to release, one of the nine will be retired to make room for it.
How we work
Materials are bought in single lots and traced to their harvest — Mysore sandalwood under a certified programme, Taif rose from one grower, oud from a plantation in Assam rather than wild stands.
Everything is macerated for eight weeks, filtered once, and bottled by hand in batches of three hundred. Nothing is reformulated to hit a price.
